Hey everyone, so I decided to share with you my workouts that I’m doing for my FemShep cosplay, as well as a playlist that I have for my workouts. They’re really simple, and I have more to add to this soon. This is what I’m doing to achieve a lean, fit and healthy/strong body for my FemShep cosplay this summer!

What I usually do:

Crunches during every loading screen of Skyrim/ME/AC3, or commercials if I’m watching TV, including a 30-day crunch challenge I’m doing with my boyfriend.

I do a 30 second plank every night before bed. It REALLY works your core!
I have a bad back so if I have a sore back that day, I do extra squats or crunches instead.

I do about 20 squats every day.

I also use my elliptical machine as often as I can.

On top of this, I’m also eating a healthier diet, cutting out junk foods as much as I can but also treating myself once in a while. I love eating LOTS of fruits and veggies, and I’m also eating whole grain (NOT whole wheat!) breads, and lean meats.

This is Link’s favorite soup, and pretty much the best consumable in the game because it heals both your life and magic bars and doubles Link’s attack power. Goes to show, even in the enigmatic world of Hyrule, there’s nothing like your Grandma’s cooking!

Ingredients:

1lb Yellow Squash, chopped

6 tbsp Butter

2 Turnips, peeled and chopped

2 Carrots, chopped

1/4 Cup Cauliflower, chopped

1 medium Yellow Onion, chopped

4 tbs. Lemon Juice

4 Cups Chicken Broth (or Veggie Broth if vegetarian)

3 Garlic Cloves, minced or chopped fine

1 Yellow Chile, de-seeded and chopped (optional)

Salt and Pepper to taste

Chives or Green Onions, chopped fine

Directions:
Melt the butter in a large pot over medium-low heat, cook the yellow onion and garlic until softened, around 8-10 minutes. Add the squash, carrots, cauliflower, turnip, lemon juice, chile (if using) and half of the broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, then simmer, until vegetables are very tender, about 20 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool for about 10 minutes or until soup won’t burn you. Puree the soup in a blender or food processor until smooth (be careful with hot liquids) and transfer to the cleaned or a new pot. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer on low until you serve, adding more broth until desired consistency. Put in your serving vessel (preferably a corked glass bottle) and add the copped chives or green onions to the surface of the soup for garnish. Drink it with a smile!

Yandere Cupcake

Ingredients:
1 Can white frosting
1 Box Red Velvet Cake Mix

Sugar Glass:
2 cups water
1 cup light corn syrup
3 1/2 cups white sugar
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

Edible Blood:
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 cup water, or more as needed
15 drops red food coloring
3 drops blue food coloring

Directions:
Prepare Red Velvet Cake Mix According to box, line cupcake tins with paper cupcake liners.

Divide cake batter between lined cupcake tins.

Bake according to box instructions. Let cool and frost cupcakes with white frosting.

Make the sugar glass. Mix 2 cups water, 1 cup corn syrup, white sugar, and cream of tartar in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Use a candy thermometer and boil sugar syrup until temperature reaches 300 degrees (hard ball), stirring constantly. The mixture will thicken as water evaporates. When sugar reaches 300 degrees, quickly pour onto a metal baking pan. Cool until completely hardened. Break into “shards” using a meat mallet.

Make the edible blood. Mix together 1/2 cup corn syrup and cornstarch in a large bowl. Slowly stir in the 1/4 cup of water, adding more if necessary, until the corn syrup mixture has thickened to the consistency of blood. Stir in the red and blue food coloring.

Stab each frosted cupcake with a few shards of broken sugar glass. Drizzle on drops of “blood” to complete the effect.

Oh why hello there anonymoose, how are you tonight? I’m sorry i didn’t notice your post. No you see, most people never remember my name, so i simply don’t go by it anyways. Its usually much easier to go by kitsune, which everyone remembers. Though, 9 times out of 10 people call me by a shortened version of my internet handle (long story there) so i just get called Sugar. A lot. By everyone. Including men! Which is infinitely hilarious.
